Serbians living in Germany started their march to Brussels from the city of Aachen on Friday to join the students running from Novi Sad to Brussels.
The dozen Serbians from Germany were joined by a large group of students from Nis and Novi Sad, a Deutsche Welle reporter told N1’s morning show.
The reporter said that the idea is to meet up with the group of students running a relay marathon to Brussels as a show of solidarity.
The group from Aachen - on the tri-state border of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium – will run a total of 136 kilometers. Friday’s stage takes them from Aachen in Germany to Maastricht in the Netherlands.
