Serbia's Agriculture Ministry seeks consultations with EU on dairy market situation

“Given the complex circumstances in this sector throughout the region and Europe, Serbia believes that dialogue with EU institutions is essential. The goal is to examine current market trends and potential responses to further market disruptions through a dialogue between partners,” the Ministry said in a press release.

It noted that relevant state authorities are continuously monitoring the situation in the dairy sector, analyzing trends in domestic and regional markets, and implementing measures aimed at maintaining the stability of production and supply.

The Ministry of Agriculture said it “remains committed to transparency, responsible action and fulfilling international obligations, with the conviction that coordination and open dialogue with the EC serves our common interests.”
