Serbia's chief epidemiologist calls for obligatory vaccination of health workers
Predrag Kon, Serbia's chief epidemiologist and member of the COVID response team, said it might happen in three weeks that the number of new daily infection cases becomes a four-digit number again, adding that hospitals are likely to start accepting patients in a week-time period.
He wrote on his Facebook page that there is no time for contemplation and that it is necessary to start obligatory vaccination of health workers, and then high-risk citizens or those who could spread infection due to the job they do.
Kon asked that everyone gets focused on the only enemy, which is the virus that comes in delta variant this time.
