The head of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo Petar Petkovic said on Tuesday that he has been refused permission to enter Kosovo for a 7th time.

He said that he was stopped at the Konculj crossing on his way to visit Serb families in the Leposavic municipality.

According to Petkovic, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti “is continuing to violate all agreements, especially the agreement on official visits”. “I announced the visit on time and if this is how Kurti treats the chief negotiator in the (Belgrade-Pristina) dialogue it’s clear how Pristina treats the Serbian people in Kosovo,” he is quoted as saying in a press release from his office.

Petkovic said that he informed European Union envoy Miroslav Lajcak and other EU and US officials that he was banned from entering Kosovo, adding that they replied that it was a clear violation of the agreement but probably a technical error.

He said that he filed another request to and would return to the Konculj crossing on Wednesday.
