Fake News Tracer awarded Serbia's three media with Golden, Silver and Bronze Pinocchio recognition for spreading fake news in 2020.

„Out team investigated 198 manipulative contents and 23 percent of them were published in print and online Alo tabloid, which deserved the Golden Pinocchio,“ the Fake News Tracer website said.

The runner-up was the tabloid Informer with 19 percent of its news, while the third-placed was Serbia Danas portal with 16 percent of the fake news within its content.

„We hope the media will do its best in 2021 not to deserve these rewards,“ the website said o the occasion of its three years existence.
