He said that a new facility and production line for "plasma" biscuits will be built within the 'Bambi' factory, would cost more than 12 million Euro.

"It's a fantastic thing when you come to a company that, in a year that was not easy at all, managed to increase exports by 15 percent. It is fantastic when you come to a company, a leader in both Serbia and the region and see that it is slowly growing into a world leader as part of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group," Cadez said.

He added it was "the largest investment of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group ever, and this 'Bambi's tenth production plant will be operational in September."

Cadez said the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group enabled 'Bambi' to grow from a regional to a worldwide leader.

The Coka-Cola Hellenic CEO for Serbia and Montenegro Svetislav Atanasov said that 'Bambi', together with Coca-Cola, of which it became a part, invested significant funds in production and employment.

He added that with the acquisition of 'Bambi', the company participated with 0.6 percent of Serbia's GDP.

'Bambi' concern employees 800 people in Pozarevac and Belgrade, annually produces 33,500 tons of biscuits, exports to 22 world markets, mainly in the region, and plans to expand to Switzerland, Austria, Romania and Hungary.
