Speaking during a meeting with Eurojust President Michael Schmid, Dolovac said particular attention should be given to combating crimes of mutual concern, including international illicit trade, drug trafficking, sophisticated online financial fraud, and human and arms trafficking.
Schmid welcomed a decision by Serbia’s High Council of Prosecutors to restore the country’s liaison prosecutor at Eurojust following a break that raised concerns over the lack of direct cooperation, the Serbian prosecution service said.
Eurojust officials described cooperation with Serbia as highly successful, citing longstanding ties with the Serbian prosecution service and liaison offices of EU member states.
Dolovac is leading a Serbian prosecution delegation on a working visit to Eurojust from September 8-10.
