"We talked about the situation in the region and future cooperation in promoting peace and stability in the Western Balkans," Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic said on his Instagram profile after meeting the British envoy for the region Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach on Tuesday.

Vucic reiterated Serbia's commitment to a sustainable and mutually acceptable solution in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on the normalisation of relations as the only way to resolve all open issues.
He also said he hoped Sir Stuart, appointed last December, would contribute and support the dialogue with his experience and knowledge about the region.

According to Vucic's office statement, Ser Stuart said his appointment showed British continued commitment to the Western Balkans' safety, stability, and economic progress. Regarding the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue, he said he would support it with the EU and US partners.
