More than 150 Serbs from Kosovo set out on foot Sunday this morning for Belgrade to attend the rally scheduled for Saturday, April 12, marking the founding of the Movement for People and State, initiated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

According to the portal Kosovo Online, the march includes participants from Gracanica and surrounding areas of central Kosovo, Kosovsko Pomoravlje, North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavic.

“Bad weather, rain, and snow won’t stop us from achieving our goal and arriving safely at the big rally on Saturday. We from Kosovo and Metohija will defend our Kosovo in Belgrade because our country is under attack, both externally and internally,” said para-athlete Ivan Cvetkovic from Straza village in Novo Brdo municipality.

Vucic previously called citizens to the rally via TikTok, stating that “for several months now, there has been an attempt to overthrow Serbia, organized externally and internally,” and emphasizing the need to “take back the stolen state.”

“You decide what kind of country you want to live in. You have the power. And yes, tomorrow might be too late. Serbia will prevail! See you in Belgrade on April 12 at 7:00 PM,” Vucic said in his TikTok post.

The Serbian President has announced that the rally will feature the presentation of the Movement for People and State, which he initiated.
