Seven detained in Uzice remanded in custody for up to 30 days

Those detained include teachers, lawyers, and local councilors.

Lawyer Mihailo Krstic said one detainee, teacher Branko Nikolic from Uzice, was not brought before the judge and prosecutor because he is hospitalized, “but despite that, he has been ordered into custody.”

The road blockade was set up following a large protest in Uzice on Sunday.
