Slovenian demonstrators tried to enter N1 news desk, break window

Late on Tuesday, a group of demonstrators in Ljubljana tried to enter the N1 TV news desk and broke a window at the entrance.

Protests against COVID-19 passes and other measures to curb the epidemic in Slovenia have been going on for days. They have become more violent, and the police used tear gas and water cannon against the most aggressive.

At the same time, at Brdo kod Kranja, some 27 kilometres away to the north, the leaders of the European Union and Western Balkans hold the Summitorganised by Slovenia, currently presiding the bloc.
