On Friday, Serbian police denied entry to Slovenian journalist Marko Gregorc from POP TV, his colleague Ziga Bonca said in a post on X.

This was also confirmed by POP TV to N1. The teams from POP TV and their sister station, Croatian RTL, were held at the Croatian-Serbian border for some time before being prevented from entering the country. They were en route to cover the mass protest in Belgrade scheduled for Saturday, reported N1 Slovenia.

At the border, Serbian security officials explained their decision to Marko Gregorc, stating: “It has been determined that there is a negative security risk assessment related to the entry and stay of a foreign national on the territory of the Republic of Serbia,” 24ur.com reported.
