The snow that started falling Sunday morning has delayed traffic throughout Serbia.

In Belgrade, many streets were not cleaned early in the morning, and trees fell in several places, damaging several cars. The entrance to Nikola Tesla Airport was also crowded.

The Belgrade city authorities and the utility company in charge of clearing the roads, JP Putevi Srbije, claim that the traffic is running smoothly.

The Hydrometeorological Service announced that five to 25 cm of snow is expected in the lower regions Sunday and up to 50 cm on some mountains.
