Snow, rain and ice expected

It said that drivers should exercise caution from Monday evening to Wednesday morning in mountainous areas and in lower areas of the Timocka Krajina and Negotinska Krajina in the east of Serbia where between 5 and 15 centimeters of snow are expected to fall. It said that somewhat less snow is expected in the rest of the country along with some ice.

The roads company appealed to drivers to use all winter equipment.

The Serbian national weather service (RHMZ) said that freezing rain is also expected on Tuesday in parts of the country.
