SNS affiliated singer fined for insulting N1 reporter

A singer with ties to the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has been ordered to pay a fine for insulting an N1 reporter.

Singer Aleksandar Vuksanovic who goes by the stage name Aca Lukas was ordered to pay 250,000 Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) and court costs after the Higher Court in Belgrade found him guilty of insulting N1 reporter Zaklina Tatalovic, his lawyers said.

Lukas made offensive remarks about Tatalovic during a live appearance in a talk show on the pro-regime TV Pink in 2020.

Lukas faces a prison term of up to six months if he fails to pay the fine and court costs.
