Deputy leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, said that "problems due to not imposing of sanctions against Russia are growing bigger," as well as open pressures, threats and, as he said, "perfidious conditions and various political traps."

„I believe that Serbia will succeed in maintaining this course, staying in its chair, preserving its own interests, and resisting the growing hysteria against everything Russian,“ Vucevic told Alo daily.

Asked who will succeed Aleksandar Vucic as the leader of the SNS, he said that the party’s bodies would decide on that.

„We all know what President Vucic announced, but I also think that the vast majority of progressives do not agree with his decision, I am the first one of them,“ said Vucevic.
