The Zajedno party (a member of Serbia Against Violence - SPN) said on Friday that it was not going to field candidates in the June 2 elections in Belgrade.

A party statement said that the decision not to stand in the elections was taken because the minimum of conditions is not in place.

The party said it is abiding by the March 9 decision taken by the SPN, NADA coalition and ProGlas that a minimum of conditions need to be in place to stand in elections as well as their latest initiative for all local elections to be called for next autumn to allow the implementation of ODIHR recommendations.
