Ivica Dacic, the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia, said that the party is ready to resume the cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party, noting that talks on the new Government of Serbia have not yet begun.
Speaking to Politika daily, Dacic said that they are ready to continue cooperation with SNS and that his only question is what is the best way to help.
He also said that this is nothing new and that the two parties have had very good cooperation in the past ten years.
“Those results were very good and it is logical that in accordance with our common goals we should continue cooperation when it comes to the parliament and the new Government of Serbia,” said Dacic.
He also said that these talks have not yet started and added that „the president (of Serbia and SNS Aleksandar) Vucic is not to blame, because the elections in Veliko Trnovac have been repeated five times”.
