The production of the Russian Sputnik V anti-coronavirus vaccine will start in Serbia on Friday, according to Nenad Popovic, the country’s Minister of Innovation.
That makes Serbia the first country in Europe which will produce Sputnik V.
The state RTS TV reported that the Russian National Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology confirmed the quality of the vaccine made by Serbia’s Torlak Institute and approved its production.
