Srbijagas chief: No change in prices

Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic told the Serbian state TV (RTS) that the country has sufficient supplies of natural gas ahead of winter and added that prices will be stable.

“Srbijagas has never cut off any consumer and will not, whatever happens,” he said adding that the company will not leave anyone in the cold. He warned that local authorities have huge debts for gas.

According to Bajatovic, Serbia’s Banatski Dvor natural gas storage facility will be expanded over the next three years to a capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
