Dragan Djilas, president of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), which is part of the 'United for the Victory of Belgrade' coalition, said that he received the invitation from the cabinet of Aleksandar Vucic, the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), to a meeting to be held at the Serbian Presidency building on Monday at 4 pm.

According to Djilas, the subject of talks will be finding a way out of the political crisis in Belgrade.

“Our representatives in the City Election Commission (GIK) continue to fight for the repeat elections at a number of polling stations, but we should be aware that even if that happens, given the position of some opposition parties that they will not cooperate with us, it will not be possible to form the government in Belgrade in accordance with the will shown by the people of Belgrade in the elections,” said Djilas.

He said this is why the only solution is to hold new elections, in a different atmosphere and without irregularities, which have been noticed in large numbers this time as well.
