European Union spokesman Peter Stano told Thursday’s news briefing that the Banjska armed incident needs to be clarified, adding that consequences are possible.
“What happened on Sunday was very serious and needs to be clarified and there will be consequences,” Stano said.
“Everyone needs to behave responsibly and contribute to clarifying what happened,” he said.
According to him, the EU is involved very much with partners in the region and international partners and will take the appropriate response when EU member states feel the time has come.
“The partners know what the EU expects,” Stano said.
