Stano: Borrell to meet with Vucic, Kurti in Paris

European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano said the European Union (EU) will continue efforts to help Belgrade and Pristina to de-escalate and defuse current tensions and advance in the EU-facilitated dialogue.

“EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Paris tomorrow in separate meetings,” Stano wrote on his Twitter account.

Vucic is paying a two-day visit to France, where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and participate in the fifth Paris Peace Forum.

Kurti said Thursday that he is travelling to Paris to attend the Forum at the invitation of President Macron and announced the possibility of a meeting with Vucic during this two-day event.
