Stano didn’t confirm Tanjug claim chief negotiators to meet next week

The pro-regime Tanjug agency said on Friday that the next meeting of chief negotiators from Belgrade and Pristina would take place next week but European Commission spokesman Peter Stano did not confirm a meeting would take place.
“The next meeting in the framework of the (Belgrade-Pristina) dialogue at the level of chief negotiators as indicated by (European Union envoy Miroslav) Lajcak. The timing will be communicated as appropriate. I have nothing more specific to say at this time,” Stano told a regular media briefing in Brussels.
Tanjug said that it learned from unnamed diplomatic sources that chief negotiators the Serbian government’ Office for Kosovo chief Petar Petkovic and Kosovo deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi would meet next Tuesday but that there would be no trilateral meeting. “Even though Belgrade has expressed full readiness for a trilateral meeting with Pristina, Bislimi refused, Tanjug learned from diplomatic sources,” the agency said.
It said that the meetings would discuss the bridge across the Ibar dividing the city of Mitrovica and the forming of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
