Stano: Obligation to form CSM urgent, failure will have consequences

He said the European Union (EU) and its international partners have been very clear with Kosovo regarding this obligation, and that failure to implement it will have consequences.

All the commitments and documents signed within the EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue are in force and must be implemented, including both the Brussels and the Ohrid agreements, said Stano.

He added that the implementation of the Brussels and Ohrid agreements and the formation of the CMS are linked to the progress of both Kosovo and Serbia on the path to EU membership.

If the partners fail to meet the obligations under the agreements, there will be serious consequences, and the only ones who will pay for it are the people in whose interest the partners claim to be acting, Stano said.
