Stano: Serbia expected to cooperate fully with investigation

He confirmed that EU High Representative Josep Borrell met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, adding that the message to them from all EU member states is return to the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue as the only way to normalize their relations.

He said the situation in Kosovo has to be de-escalated.

He said that Belgrade can’t hide behind formalities such as recognition since there are ways to share information and cooperate in a full investigation. What happened on September 24 is so serious that it has to be cleared up fully because there will be consequences, Stano said, adding that everyone who can contribute to the investigation is expected to cooperate fully and unconditionally.
