Stano to RTK: Belgrade, Pristina accepted EU proposal for CSM

He said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti were presented a balanced European proposal to form the CSM by European Commission officials who insisted that both sides should start its implementation in order to promote the normalization process and lower the risk of escalation and more violence.

According to Stano, both sides said they were prepared in principle to accept the proposal but both had conditions unacceptable to the other side.

We expect that readiness to lead to implementation without delay, conditions are not acceptable, RTK quoted Stano as saying.

Stano said the EU proposal has not been released to the public, denying claims by some Kosovo media that they had access to the CSM draft Statute.
