State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller condemned Sunday’s attacks on the Kosovo Police and called Belgrade and Pristina to refrain from inflaming tensions.
“The United States strongly condemns the coordinated, violent attacks on the Kosovo Police on September 24. We call on Kosovo and Serbia to avoid actions or rhetoric that could further inflame tensions and return to the EU-facilitated Dialogue,” Miller wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
