Statistics office says foreign trade higher

It said that the trade figures showed a 1.9 percent increase compared to the same period a year earlier.

Exports totaled 10.5 billion Dollars or 2 percent more than in 2023 and imports totaled 13.5 billion or 1.8 percent more bringing the foreign trade deficit to 2.9 billion Dollars or 1.1 percent more than in 2023.

The RZS said that trade with European Union member states accounted for 61.1 percent of the total.
