Statistics Office says little change in labor force

“In the third quarter of 2025 the total number of employed amounted to 2,365,745. Of the total number, 1,893,202 persons were employed with companies, 427,580 were entrepreneurs and their employees and persons individually running business, 44,963 persons are registered individual farmers.

Compared to the third quarter of 2024, the total number of employed increased by 73, the number of employed with companies dropped by 3,098 persons, the number of entrepreneurs and their employees and persons individually running business increased by 7,127, and the number of registered individual agricultural producers (farmers) decreased by 3,956.

Compared to the previous quarter, the total number of employed decreased by 4,358, the number of employed with companies dropped by 5,329 the number of entrepreneurs and their employees and persons individually running business increased by 2,259, while the number of registered individual farmers dropped by 1,288 persons.
