Student injured by driver who rammed into protest

The woman driver rammed into the group of students, carried him forward on the hood of the car and then fled when he dropped off on a curve in the road. The student was taken to hospital for treatment. Witnesses gave statements to the police at the local station.

The students were standing on the street for the daily 15 Minutes of Silence memorial for the people killed at the Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1.

This is one of several similar incidents with drivers opposed to the student protests ramming their cars into the crowds standing in silence. The protesters are demanding accountability for the collapse of the roof at the railway station among other things.
