On Instagram, along with this message, the students posted a comparison of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party’s (SNS) ratings with coalition partners in the towns of Kosjeric and Zajecar, where local elections were held on Sunday, noting that the rating dropped from 79.13 percent to 49.23 percent in Kosjeric from 2021 to 2025, as well as from 79.87 percent to 52.6 percent in Zajecar over the same period.
Locals elections in the towns of Kosjeric and Zajecar were held on June 8.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has repeatedly refused to call snap elections in recent times, claiming they will be held when it’s time for them, namely at the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027.
