Students in Belgrade continued blocking the Serbian state TV (RTS) building and its studio on Wednesday.
Police managed to escort some employees into the state broadcaster’s headquarters on Wednesday morning, which led to scuffles with the protesters.
In a statement shared early in the day, the students said there weren’t enough of them on site to effectively resist the police, and called on others to join them in front of the RTS building.
The protesters have been chanting “People’s Police” and raising their hands in the air as a symbol of peaceful resistance.
