Belgrade students took over the University rector’s office building on Friday after observing 15 minutes of silence for the victims of the Novi Sad Railway Station tragedy. Pročitaj više

The students from several university schools joined the Stop Serbia protests observing the 15 minutes of silence before starting what they said would be a 12 hour blockade of the Rectorate.

One of the students used a megaphone to address the crowd, saying: “We won’t let the police or thugs beat us”. Belgrade Arts University Drama School students were beaten earlier during a similar protest.

The students asked media crews to leave the building.
