Support rally for Belgrade University rector draws large crowd outside CPD

The crowd shouted slogans such as “We won’t give up our rector” as Djokic appeared for questioning in a preliminary investigation into allegations of abuse of office.

According to N1’s reporter on the ground, a large number of Djokic’s colleagues are also present.

The summons follows Djokic’s public support for students who have been protesting for months. State officials have since called for his arrest, alleging criminal responsibility.
