
More than two-thirds of Belgrade residents, or 69 percent, are dissatisfied with the current situation in the capital, according to a recent public opinion poll conducted by the Center for Local Self-Administration.

The online survey was carried out on a sample of 13,231 people between April 22 and May 2. Of those polled, 9,125 said they were unhappy with the state of Belgrade, the Center reported.
More than half of respondents who said they were unhappy with the situation (53.6 percent) said the solution is to hold a snap election, while 11.2 percent think a compulsory administration is necessary. Additionally, 35.2 percent feel that the city needs an expert-led administration to replace the current mayor.
