Teachers protest, hand demands to ministry

The teachers are part of the informal PULS of Belgrade Elementary Schools organization. They handed in a letter with demands to Education Ministry Slavica Djukic Dejanovic.

Speakers said they want the ministry to hear what they have to say and see their dissatisfaction. They said their letter to the minister includes a number of hastily written demands mainly as a platform for talks.

An N1 reporter said the ministry invited the teachers to talks but the protesters decided to give the minister time to review their demands and meet them.
