The GSS media company faces a fine of 100,000 Euro and jail time for its official Sasa Petrovic for failing to comply with court rulings obliging it to pay more than 1.5 million Euro in damages to Grand Production.
GSS Media is affiliated with Telekom Serbia. The company was ordered to pay 1,531,500 Euro in fines for illegally broadcasting Grand Production shows. GSS Media failed to comply with those court rulings and now faces an additional fine.
The court case filed by Grand against GSS Media was finalized on September 3, 2020 when the Austrian Supreme Court made final ruling ordering it to stop airing Grand Production shows and allow access to financial records to determine the earnings and set the damages to award to Grand Production. It was also ordered to post the ruling on its web site.
GSS Media has already been ordered to pay fines for failing to comply and the courts now have not other recourse than to order the arrest of its legal representative.
