Mike Michel, Telenor CEO, wrote on Friday to Association of Serbia's Journalists (UNS) complaining over what he said was "unjust and essentially untrue accusations" in N1 and Nova S reporting about the Telekom Serbia and Telenor deal without asking the other side, i.e., his company for comment.

However, N1 has emails as proof that it contacted Telenor the day after learning about Telecom and that company’s intentions. Six days later, N1 wrote to Telenor’s PR again, asking: „Why are you not answering“.

Michel’s letter further said that from January 25 to February 1 this year, N1 and Nova S broadcast 34 items on the topic, and no one from Telenor Serbia was invited to take part in reports.

Three days after the second request, Telenor PPF Group’s owner sent N1 a partial answer, which the TV  carried the same day.
