Ankara could get involved in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, the Turkish president’s chief advisor Sabri Demiri told Pristina-based Klan Kosova TV.

Demiri said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is waiting for the outcome of high-level dialogue meetings in Brussels before joining in the talks as a mediator. He did not deny Erdogan’s possible meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

“We told President Vucic that and expressed an interest in helping but right now we are waiting for the outcome of meetings between President Vucic and Prime Minister Kurti in Brussels to see how far they have gotten with an agreement before intervening as mediators and helping reach agreement,” Demiri said.

He said that President Erdogan would meet with Kurti and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani soon.
