UK Ambassador to Kosovo: Don’t forget the past, but make compromises

I am very proud that the United Kingdom is with Kosovo every step of the way, said Abbot, stressing that the past between Kosovo and Serbia should not be forgotten, but that compromises should be made.

Addressing students at the Pristina Faculty of Philosophy, the Ambassador said that no country in the Western Balkans should throw the European future into question, and added that, even though the UK left the European Union, it fully supports the future of Europe.

Abbot said the highest priority at present is to support Ukraine until it is liberated, and stressed that he is very grateful for the assistance that Kosovo has provided to Ukraine.
