Ukrainian Ambassador to Belgrade Volodymyr Tolkach said Russia launched over 500 missiles and drones on Ukraine over the New Year and Christmas holidays, and called on Serbia to “most strongly condemn this terrorist attack.”

The Ambassador described the attacks, in which he said some 10 people were killed and about 100 wounded, as “deadly greeting cards from Russia.”

“I think this should also make the Serbian people think about what can be expected from the brotherhood with Russia when the so-called priests of the Russian Orthodox Church bless their believers to kill their co-religionists in Ukraine by consecrating missiles,” Tolkach told a media conference in Belgrade.

The Ambassador added that Moscow’s goal is to break the Ukrainian people’s will to resist, but that the Ukrainian people are defending European values.
