A senior diplomat at the Ukrainian embassy in Belgrade told Nova newspaper that Kyiv is prepared to buy weapons from Serbia but that Belgrade does not want to supply them because of its military neutrality.
“You know that Serbia does not sell weapons to Ukraine but we see no obstacle to that,” Embassy Counsellor Mark Martyniuk said.
The Ukrainian diplomat said that according to what the embassy learned, the Ukrainian aircraft that crashed in Greece with a load of weapons headed for Bangladesh because of a technical fault.
