Union says 10,000 teachers on White Strike

The NSPRS said that the so-called White Strike exceeded the expectations of that union. The White Strike means that teachers go to school, are present in classrooms and give all their students top grades without doing any schoolwork.

The union said earlier that straight As would be the only grade it’s members would give their students, adding that they decided on the White Strike because the government and parliament failed to meet their October 13 deadline to amend the law and regulations to upgrade school security and guarantee teachers better protection from assault as well as allowing for the immediate suspension and/or expulsion from class and school.
