The Association of Free and Independent Unions (ASNS) said on Monday that it wants the minimum wage raised to just over 61,000 Dinars a month.

The ASNS called for a minimum wage of 61,286 Dinars for a 21-day working month, that is 364,24 Dinars an hour (1 Euro – 117 Dinars).

The ASNS call for higher wages comes after Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said negotiations on a higher minimum wage would start on August 15.

The ASNS also wants the minimum wage raised to 64,209 Dinars for a 22-day working month and to 67,123 Dinars for a 23-day working month.
