United Group, the leading telecommunications and media operator in Southeast Europe, said on Friday it had completed the acquisition of Nova Broadcasting Group, Bulgaria's largest multi-platform media company.
The national frequency television NOVA TV, ten television channels, the largest online platform Net Info, which is visited by an average of 80 percent of the Bulgarian population monthly, and four radio stations, are part of the Nova Broadcasting Group.
SBB and its services EON and Total TV operate in Serbia within the United Group, and N1, Nova S TV and Sport Klub TV channels and websites broadcast media content.

The operations of Nova Broadcasting Group within the United Group will be overseen by Dirk Gerkens, former director of RTL, a television expert with more than 25 years of experience in the media.
The acquisition of Nova Broadcasting Group is a part of United Group’s strategy to own both telecommunications and media companies in the markets in which it operates.
