United Media, Pula Film Festival continue cooperation

“United Media and the Pula Film Festival proudly announce the continuation of their successful cooperation through the second joint project “Make the Scene,” a press release said on Friday.

“Following last year’s workshop, which generated great interest and resulted in original projects, we continue to support regional talents in promoting authentic television content. As part of this year’s edition of the “Make the Scene – Comedy Edition” project, a call has been opened for talented authors from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Applicants are invited to submit their projects for comedic and dramedy-genre television series, written in the language of their country of origin,” it said and added that more information is available on the official web site.

“Applications for the pitching program are open from April 25th to May 25th, 2025. Each author may submit a maximum of two projects, provided they have not previously received financial support or any award through other competitions or public calls. Participation is possible individually or in collaboration with a production company.

“The pitching session will be held in the language of the participants’ countries, in front of a professional three-member jury, as part of the Pula Film Festival from July 10 to July 17, 2025. The best project will be awarded 5,000 euros, while the runner-up will receive professional mentoring support from renowned authors Goran Stanković and Vladimir Tagić, aimed at further developing the project.
