The Association of Serbia's Journalists (UNS) called on Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik to apologize for making an offensive remark about an N1 Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) reporter at the International Economy Fair in Mostar, BiH.

While speaking with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in front of cameras on Wednesday, Dodik called the N1 reporter “a cow”.

“See that cow from N1… She has her own truth, says it and leaves,” said Dodik.

The UNS said that everyone has the right to disagree with journalists’ reporting, but that “insulting journalists is unacceptable, and holders of public office and all participants in the public sphere must pay attention to the culture of speech.“
