UNS: Persons sending death threats to N1 journalist must be identified


The Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS) condemns the threats sent to N1 journalist Zaklina Tatalovic via social networks and demands that the Special Prosecutor’s Office for High-Tech Crime identify those behind the intimidation of and threats made against this journalist and institute proceedings against these persons, said UNS.

The Association said that several days ago Zaklina Tatalovic received death threats and insults regarding her work from the accounts in the name of “Alma Begovic” and “Sabo Zoltan.

Tatalovic told UNS that she has reported the threats to the police.

UNS notes that threats against journalists are unacceptable and that the authors of such content must be held accountable.
