It's been 27 years since Radislava Dada Vujasionic, a reporter with Belgrade Duga magazine, was found dead at her apartment, the Union of Serbia's journalists (UNS) has recalled on Thursday, adding the case is still unsolved.

The official report initially concluded Vujasinovic committed suicide by shooting herself in the chest with a shotgun on April 8, 1994. Her body was found the next day.

However, that conclusion was dismissed in January 2009, and the District Prosecutor qualified the case as murder and launched a pre-investigation procedure.

On Thursday, Ivana Rakocevic, the High Public Prosecutor Office's PR, said that "during the procedure, checks and various expert examinations were performed, numerous witnesses examined. A commission of forensic and ballistics experts was formed; the events on the crime scene reconstructed, and all the evidence submitted to the Forensic Institute in The Hague, which also performed expertise."
